I tried my best to keep this post short and spoiler-free (hehe) but please play the game if you want to know more.
:)

The game follows in the same premise and a dying world having 13 days left to live. You are Lightning, the god's chosen savior. One of your tasks is to save your friends' souls, drowning in despair. Moreover, saving more souls extends the world's remaining time through the donation of Eradia to the legendary tree Yggdrasil. The main motivation for completing the tasks was to save the soul of your sister, Serah. Doubt kept coming in mainly due to ideas shared by Lumina and other important people (spoiler). The question above now follows; what would you do if God's will was not to save humanity (in this case, the human souls) but rather to create a different beings that surpasses humans?
The game follows a really nice non-linear story (mainly due to the unrestricted placing of main and side quests). The game also has a custom effect since it lets you choose from a myriad collections of garbs, weapons and accessories. Gameplay, cinematics, and graphics are stunning. It is quite an investment since it takes a lot of time. Kudos to Square Enix for making this!
Note: I am not promoting atheism of some sort, just a little bit of critical thinking (kinda hehe). Thank you for reading!!!
