One part in the Trojan war is that Aeneas, is being begged by his own wife to stop the war and think of their family. It is compared to the scene in Iliad wherein Andromache is pleading to Hector in the same logic, to think about their family mostly their son, Astyanax.
So I kind of think that both scenes share the same thought and is usually found in war movies wherein the wife of the character or someone really close is begging to think about their family. It makes me feel sad and it makes me think about my own family too, if I am in that kind of situation.
What I learned in the stories? I think it would probably be the critically and analytically thinking about a difficult situation. It also made me learn that your family is really important and would make you feel nostalgic if you haven't seen them in a while.
So what about their difference? It's pretty hard to see the difference in the two scenes but I think it would be about the correct foreseeing of the death of Hector predicted by Andromache.
